| About this Event |
| This is the Third annual 5k run and 1 mile fun run for the Rockport Public Schools Health and Wellness Programs. The race was born from the desire to get our students and community more involved in health and wellness activities. The money raised from this event goes directly to our health and wellness programs at the Rockport Public Schools. |
| Course |
| This is a 5k course that is all on pavement. The course will start in downtown Rockport at Harvey Park. The address is 4 High Street, Rockport, MA 01966 |
| Parking- Important |
| Parking will be limited downtown. If you live nearby we encourage you to walk. If you are coming from out of town we encourage you to park at the Park N Ride and take the shuttle to the park. The shuttle will start running at 7:30am to bring runners to the race start and will continue running all day to bring you back to your car. The Park N Ride has 200 parking spots and bathrooms and there will be a parking attendent onsite all day for security for your vehicles. The Park N' Ride is located at the Rockport Transfer Station on your right when driving into town on route 127. |
| Number Pick up |
| Number and t-shirt pickup will be May 15th, 16th, and17th at the Rockport Elementary School 3pm-6pm. We will also be having a 50/50 raffle that night and a chance to buy raffle tickets for the race day raffle. |
| T- Shirts |
| You will be guaranteed a t-shirt if you register by May 1st. After May first it will be first come first served while supplies last. |
| Awards |
|
Cash prizes and raffle tickets will be awarded to the top 3 male and female runners overall. There will also be prizes awarded for the top 3 runners male and female in the following age groups: 7 and under, 8-9, 10 yrs old, 11-12 years old, 13-17 years old, 18-23 years old, 24-29 years old, 30-39 years old, 40-49 years old, 50+ years
Team Challenge
A team will consist of 5 runners regardless of age or gender. Cost is $125 per team, team members are still eligible to place in their individual age groups. Teams members should confirm team name with team captain prior to signing up. The team name must be consistent with each member on the team.
